Childproof outlet covers are installed if you have young children

3. Wiring and Cables

No visible frayed, cracked, or damaged electrical cords anywhere

Extension cords are not used as permanent wiring solutions

No extension cords running under rugs, carpets, or furniture

All power strips are plugged directly into wall outlets (not daisy-chained)

No signs of rodent damage to wiring in attics, basements, or crawl spaces

If your Round Rock home is over 40 years old, wiring has been inspected by a licensed electrician
